During settlement periods (the 20th of the month, year-end closing), the load on the SQL database increased drastically. Local servers would "choke," causing slowdowns in accountants' work.

01 Phase

Core Business Optimization (enova365 & SQL)

We migrated the heart of the company, the enova365 system, to the high-performance Azure cloud.

What we did:

Instead of maintaining many small servers, we consolidated services. We reduced the number of virtual machines by 30%, moving databases to optimized Azure SQL instances that guarantee high I/O operation performance (crucial for accounting).

02 Phase

Secure Remote Work (Azure Virtual Desktop)

This was a revolution for employees. We implemented VDI (Virtual Desktop Infrastructure).

How it works:

An accountant logs in from home on any laptop but "sees" a corporate desktop running in the Azure cloud.

The Effect:

Data never leaves the cloud. Processing takes place on powerful Azure servers, and the employee sees only the image. This eliminated the problem of slow internet connections and unsecured home computers.

03 Phase

FinOps – Pay Only for What You Use

We implemented an aggressive cost optimization strategy:

Auto-scaling

At night and on weekends, when the office is not working, most VDI servers automatically shut down. The cost? Almost zero.

Reserved Instances

Key resources (SQL database) were reserved for 1-3 years, yielding an immediate discount of 40-60% compared to standard pricing.
